Studio Policies & Cancellations
At Nectar, your time - and ours - is valuable. In order to provide a high-touch, consistent experience for every client, we’ve created our policies with clarity and care. These boundaries are here not only to protect our schedule, but to elevate the quality of your treatment and ensure a professional, seamless experience from start to finish.
Communication & Hours
All appointment-related communication must go through hello@nectarskinstudio.com.
We don't monitor text messages or social media accounts for scheduling changes.
We respond to emails and voicemails Monday–Friday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Cancellation Policy
We require 48 hours' notice for all cancellations and changes. This must be done through our Square booking portal. Late cancellations (within 48 hours of your appointment) should be emailed to hello@nectarskinstudio.com.
First late cancellation: $100 fee
Additional late cancellations: $150 per instance
No-call/no-show: Full fee of $150, no exceptions
Please know that last-minute cancellations directly impact our ability to offer appointments to other clients and affect both service and product revenue. While we understand that life happens, flexibility can only extend so far, and we appreciate your understanding.
Grace Cancellation Policy
Life occasionally presents circumstances that are truly unavoidable, such as illness or family emergencies. In these situations, the appointment fee will still apply, but it may be used as a credit toward a future appointment if rescheduled within 10 days.
On the rare occasion an appointment needs to be rescheduled on short notice from our side, you will be promptly offered new scheduling options along with our sincere apologies. Lily is a solo practicioner and the mother of a young child and from time to time illness comes up.
These moments are uncommon and never taken lightly, and we believe the way we respond to each other in them matters most.
Repeat Late Rescheduling
Clients who repeatedly reschedule or cancel at the last minute may lose online booking privileges and be required to prepay for future appointments.
Arrival Etiquette
Please arrive at your scheduled time. If you’re early, feel free to wait in the lobby. If the treatment room door is closed, we’re still in session - waiting directly outside can feel disruptive to both the client inside and Lily.
If you’re 15+ minutes late, we may not be able to complete your treatment as booked, and you will still be charged in full.
Children & Guests
To maintain a focused and restorative atmosphere, children and additional guests are not permitted during treatments. Dogs may be able to accompany you at your treatments on a case by case basis.
Respect & Professionalism
Skincare is intimate, and your appointment is a shared investment of time, energy, and care. At Nectar, we promise to treat you and your skin with integrity, expertise, and kindness. In return, we ask that you approach your appointment with the same respect and courtesy.
A warm, respectful atmosphere allows us to do our best work and ensures a positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors.
Photography + Marketing
Photography is an essential part of the work we do at Nectar. Clear, high quality images allow us to document your progress, track changes in the skin, and share real results with future clients who are searching for help. Before and after photos are a core part of how we educate, market, and showcase the treatments we offer.
By receiving services at Nectar, you agree to the use of your treatment photos for educational and marketing purposes in print or online. We always protect your dignity and portray your skin respectfully. If you feel uncomfortable being fully identifiable in an image, please let us know and we can blur the eye area to make the photo less recognizable while still allowing us to share your progress.
Our goal is to celebrate your results and the hard work you put into your skin. These images help others feel hopeful and supported as they begin their own journey.
Sales
All treatment and product sales are final. If you’re unsure about a product, Lily can offer samples when available to help guide your decision.
